Built in the 1930s, the house has been completely renovated by its owners and combines vintage furniture with modern technology and contemporary amenities. Spanning two floors, it offers ample space for up to five people in three bedrooms and two bathrooms, surrounded by rolling hills not far from the natural beaches of the Flensburg Outer Fjord.
On the ground floor, the well-equipped kitchen with dining area opens onto the garden and leads into the living room with a wood-burning stove. The bathroom features underfloor heating, a rain shower, a sauna, and access to the garden. Upstairs is the master bedroom with a large double bed and adjustable motorized slatted frames, as well as an en suite bathroom.
Under the sloping roof, there is another cozy retreat with a sofa bed, which can also be used as a yoga or reading room. A well-tended cottage garden stretches around the house, featuring two terraces and various seating areas. Covered parking and a wall-mounted charging station are available for cars and bicycles.
The Fördesteig and the Baltic Sea Coastal Cycle Route begin just a few hundred meters from the house. The Habernisser Moor offers hiking trails and opportunities for nature lovers to observe wildlife and plants. At the natural beach of Westerholz, the family-run Café Strandgut serves breakfast, meals, and coffee.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
