With its unique hilly landscape and wild nature, it will be an experience you'll never forget. Discover the area around the cottage, which offers small winding dirt roads, old idyllic farmhouses and vast fields with grazing cows. It's pure idyll. Just a kilometer from the cottage, you can take a dip at the nearby beach or go kayaking. A fifteen-minute drive away is the enchanting old market town of Ebeltoft. Here you can enjoy a large ice cream, drink a cold beer and just feel the special atmosphere of the town.

We are two siblings who have inherited this fantastic summer house called "Martinshøj". We live in Copenhagen on a daily basis. Martinshøj has been the setting for a large part of our childhood, where we have been on countless vacations here. Originally, the summer house was subdivided from our grandfather's farm, Karpenhøj, which our great-grandfather built and where our father grew up. The cottage was designed by an architect, built in the 70s and has been continuously expanded so that today it is large and spacious. Since we've grown up, it has remained our ultimate favorite place. We come here with our own children and we bring the whole family with cousins and grandparents. We love the views and the silence and the beautiful surroundings.

The cottage is truly a gem. A super cozy architect-designed gem with the wildest views. The cottage is decorated with good quality retro furniture and the house exudes history and cozy moments. However, the house is somewhat worn and several things are in need of a loving hand - especially the fixtures in the kitchen and in one bathroom are loose/dripping. In addition, the handle for the stove in the annex was missing. And as it is the only source of heat in the annex, it got quite cold in mid-November.
In addition, the house was not properly clean and there was dust and dirt in several places.
Of course, it was a shame for the price, but fortunately we had a wonderful stay in the house, which in itself really adds up.
And we will definitely come back another time.
