Your hosts offer you one of two apartments in the house.

The interior reveals a well thought-out room concept in which modern fixtures in white glazed spruce deliberately contrast with the historic building. The high-quality furnishings combine Scandinavian design classics with selected historical pieces of furniture and new carpentry furniture made from old oak from the property.

The 5-hectare natural garden offers numerous places to relax. Between old fruit trees, natural stone walls and a babbling brook, you can observe local wildlife such as fire salamanders.

From here, you can explore the Bavarian Forest with its diverse hiking options. The ascent to the Oberfrauenwald forest with its viewing tower, the picturesque Saußbachklamm gorge or the nearby treetop path invite you to experience nature. In the surrounding villages you will also find excellent restaurants ranging from regional to Michelin-starred cuisine.
