Just 200 meters from the house you'll find a small beach and fishing village, offering many opportunities for outdoor activities.
In Guldborg and the surrounding area, you can experience everything from shopping for fresh groceries and shrimp from Rejepilleriet, to ice cream and treats at Café Lagunen. We are Sarah & Martin and this is our beautiful Guldborgland house from 1876. The house has retained its original half-timbering and the garden is an old orchard. From mid-July to October, the garden abounds with plums, apples, pears, walnuts and cherries. We have a fantastic view over Tårs Vig, and in clear weather you can see all the way to Askø, Fejø and Femø. Only 200 meters from the house is a small beach and fishing village. The area is known for the Vigsø bird sanctuary, and it's not unusual to see the sea eagles fly past the living room window. On calm evenings, you can enjoy dinner or a glass of wine in the sunset on the bench in front of the house. When the wind comes from the west, you can take shelter on the tiled terrace between the house and the workshop.

The living room with the large window facing the field and the sea is great, even with the huge sofa for the whole family. The kitchen and dining area are also very pleasant and nicely furnished. The children's room is relatively small and when two people sleep in it, there is actually no more space. It was okay for our short stay. A few things that could be improved: only a small trickle of water comes out of the kitchen tap. The bathroom is okay but hasn't been thoroughly renovated yet and the drain in the shower doesn't drain well. Compared to commercially rented vacation homes, it was not quite as clean, but with a lot more charm. The oven could do with a thorough clean.
