I've had the summer house since 2003. I live in Østerbro with my children and we have used it diligently all these years. It's our sanctuary where we relax and spend time together in a completely different way than in everyday life. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful nature with the beach within walking distance and Tisvilde Hegn and Heatherhill within cycling distance. My children are now 18 and 19, but they still love coming up here with me, but also with their friends. It is and has been our regular stopping point all the years since they were very young.
Not far from the cottage is a "private" beach that only the homeowners' association has access to. The beach is child-friendly and almost reminiscent of southern Europe on a sunny day with clear blue water. Tisvilde Hegn with Troldeskoven is great all year round for running, mountain biking and walking. 200 meters from the house there is a fishmonger with fresh fish on weekends, and in high season you can also help yourself to delicious gourmet bread from the small bakery.
