You will be staying in a guest house that has stood on this site for 350 years. The careful renovation combines historical substance with minimalist design: creaking floorboards meet untreated steel, clay walls and exposed brickwork meet large glass surfaces. The result is a space that breathes history and yet has a modern feel.
The 80 m² apartment on the ground floor impresses with its old vaulted ceilings. A combined bedroom and living room, a separate bedroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with a cozy dining area offer plenty of space for families. Self-check-in with a personal access code makes arrival easy.
From your own terrace, you have direct access to the spacious garden. The southeast-facing orientation provides plenty of light, and the view of the Kampenwand accompanies you while you enjoy breakfast or dinner outdoors. You can safely store your bikes or skis in the depot.
The Chiemgau region invites you to discover its mountains and lakes. Pack your backpack and hike to the region's numerous alpine huts, inns, and beer gardens. There you can enjoy refreshing drinks, delicious snacks, or a traditional Kaiserschmarrn.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

- Relaxing on the terrace with a view of the mountains
During the renovation in 2005, great importance was attached to preserving the original character while at the same time updating it to reflect contemporary tastes. We preserved the historical substance and combined it with modern design. Our guest house has no reception, creating a quiet, personal atmosphere where you can move around freely and still enjoy your privacy.
