The house is my little gem, which I've spent time and love fixing up, and it's my sanctuary where I go alone, with my boyfriend or with good friends. I use the house all year round when I need to unwind from a hectic everyday life. It's so calming for me to listen to the sound of the sea and the wind in the trees, and I love sitting around a fire in the garden with friends.
When I'm here, I mostly just enjoy being in the house, swimming and taking a walk in the woods. There's a great flea shop opposite the street pond on Oddenvej, which I always check out. I like to preserve the history of the cottage, which is why it's decorated with lots of finds from flea markets in the area. On summer days, Haveje Burger in Gudmindrup Strand is also a great spot where the sun sets on the horizon.
