The house in Rävninge has been mine since 2002 and quickly became my Swedish paradise (#swedishparadise) where we find peace, breathe deeply and recharge. In the beautiful landscape of deciduous forests in northernmost Skåne, shoulders drop and the soul finds peace. Over the years, the house has been carefully remodeled and upgraded with good materials and great respect for conservation and recycling - and a simple aesthetic.
I drink coffee on the terrace overlooking the fields and stone fences or in the garden, take walks in the forest around the house or swim in Lake Kallsjön four kilometers away along winding gravel roads. Other favorite activities are Friday trips to the excellent bread and bakery Loshults Handelsbod, coffee and waffles at Café Dahlén in Hembygdsparken in Hässleholm, shopping in beautiful Kristiansstad or art and gourmet food at Wanås Castle.
