Welcome to our charming cottage at Skødshoved, a beloved part of our family for 55 years.
This cozy wooden house sits at the end of a quiet gravel road and is surrounded by scenic surroundings with breathtaking field, forest and sea views. Here you'll find the perfect combination of peace, nature and personality - ideal for a relaxing vacation away from the bustle of the city.
The house is small but cozy and full of character and history, having been used by the last five generations of the family. It was my grandparents' summer house and we have lovingly restored it from basement to attic so it is in excellent condition, but the charm and idyll have been preserved.
There's a small, cozy kitchen area with a dining table and space to relax on the large family sofa. But dining usually takes place outside under the large covered terrace, which is the heart of the house. Here you can enjoy all the meals of the day regardless of the weather. It's especially special in the evening when you can watch the most beautiful sunset over the sea.
In addition, there is a large garden that invites you to play all kinds of garden games (which you can find in the cushion box on the terrace) and which is sunny all day long. in the garden you'll also find a shelter facing the beautiful sunset and the sea, creating a unique opportunity to sleep under the stars with a fantastic view. There is also a fire pit in the garden where you can gather and enjoy evenings around the flames.
We are located in the first row to the water. However, there is no real beach here. However, you are free to borrow our two-person sea kayak, which is located under the terrace, and enjoy the beautiful water at sea. If you have paddleboards, you can bring them along and explore the coastline further.
In the nearby area you'll find Skødshovedstrand, where you can swim or buy ice cream at the beach hotel. Skødshovedhavn also offers crabbing and a small playground for children.
