My name is Kjetil and there are two of us who own this cabin together. We bought it in 2019 and love being at the cabin, so we take every opportunity to go here. The peace and quiet we experience at the cabin is unique. Here we enjoy the fresh mountain air, relaxing and of course all the great hiking opportunities up here, with both cross-country skiing and hiking in the mountains.
The great network of cross-country ski trails, where you can go hiking in all directions, is something we particularly appreciate. There is a continuous network of trails in the direction of both Sjusjøen and Hafjell/Øyer.
In summer, you're only a short distance from Lillehammer, which is an incredibly cozy town with lots of amenities and a wide range of hiking opportunities. Nevelfjell is also worth a visit, and is a fantastic mountain peak just 1.5 hours away from the cabin with views of both Jotunheimen and Rondane.
