This lovely cottage consists of a living room with dining area, a bedroom with double bed, a kitchen and bathroom, and an additional building with a bedroom facing east. The extra building is heated by electric heaters, and the main building by an air-to-air heat pump and a fireplace insert. You will find a shed with firewood outside.
Between the buildings, with direct access from the kitchen, you will find the "breakfast terrace." To the west, just outside the living room, you will find the newly renovated (covered) terrace, perfect for lunch and dinner, and from where you can enjoy the sunset and the beautiful view of the fjord.
The beach is extremely child-friendly with a long stretch of shallow water. If you go a little further out, you will find it perfect for swimming or fishing. The house is located in the middle of the island's fishing hotspot. To get to the beach directly from the house, you have to walk down a fairly steep hill. However, it is possible to get to the beach by walking back along the gravel road to a small beach campsite, which also runs a small kiosk in the summer.
The island offers peace and quiet, a supermarket, a church, and a few places to eat out. You can rent bikes at the island office.
It is possible to use our 2+1 person sit-on-top kayak for an additional fee of 150DKK/day for the first 7 nights. From night 8 onwards, the fee is 100 DKK/night. Life jackets (older type) are included. The kayak must be booked for the entire stay. Arrival and departure days count as full days. Ask about various activities.

The house was built in 1965 by our parents and was taken over by us in 2015. We have carefully renovated and modernized it since then, but try to keep the original 1960s retro atmosphere, with its charm and imperfections. There is no spa, no air conditioning, and no TV installed—we are fans of old-fashioned cottage activities such as reading, playing games, ball or cards, and know how difficult it can be to get down to them with a TV in the room.
