You’ll find this spacious and comfortable mountain cabin in one of Norway’s most unspoiled areas: Sloko in the municipality of Nore og Uvdal, 950 meters above sea level. The cabin stands completely on its own, surrounded by seven mountain lakes, offering privacy without any neighbors looking in. The large terrace wraps around three-quarters of the house and catches the sun all day long—perfect for the family to gather.

Inside, the cabin features rustic beams and large floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the mountain lakes and peaks. Two separate living rooms with a total of three fireplaces provide plenty of space. The well-equipped kitchen features a dining area with a round table, while the dining room has a long table for 12+ people. Slate floors in the living areas, hardwood floors in the six bedrooms.

The property is situated in a secluded spot on a hill between two mountain lakes. The sunny location with long hours of sunlight makes it ideal year-round. Underfloor heating ensures comfort, while the large terrace with outdoor furniture invites you to spend long hours outdoors. Short distance to both forested terrain and open areas.

Sloko is one of the most scenic spots in the area, with a large and varied network of trails—both in the forest and in the open areas. You can put on your skis right outside the door and glide straight down to the ski trail, which is about 200 meters from the cabin door. 15 minutes to Haglebu Ski Center and a 24-hour store. The area is a fishing paradise with excellent opportunities for ice fishing in the winter. Sherpa stairs to Haglebunatten and Madonnastuen are nearby. 2.5 hours from Oslo, 1.5 hours from Kongsberg.
