Design apartment in a Bavarian farmhouse
Bavarian Forest
Apartment
56 m²
4 guests · 2 bedrooms
Ski slope
300 m
At an altitude of 1000 meters, surrounded by the majestic nature of the Bavarian Forest, a 300-year-old apartment awaits you in a farmhouse that has been carefully and ecologically renovated. The perfect retreat combines historical charm with modern Scandinavian design and offers you a breathtaking view of meadows, forests and mountains.
Inside the house you will find high-quality designer furniture and thoughtful details. The handcrafted solid beech wood kitchen invites you to cook together, while the separate lounge with Swedish stove and small bar promises cozy evenings. A bright meditation room with larch wood flooring awaits you on the upper floor.
Here you have a blossoming natural garden with old trees, berry bushes and barefoot paths. Relax in the double hammock under the plum tree, practise yoga on the three-part wooden terrace or enjoy the evenings by the fire bowl under the starry sky.
From here, you can explore the two neighboring national parks, which offer numerous hiking and cycling trails. Visit the striking Dreisessel and Lusen mountains, plan excursions to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Krumau or explore the three-river city of Passau. In winter, the nearby ski resorts in Hochficht and Mitterdorf are tempting.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

I am Ingrid, a farmer's daughter and autodidact with a keen sense of genuine craftsmanship and architecture, combined with a passion for aesthetics, design and a love of nature. After years away from home, I returned to the countryside and, together with my husband Lothar, realized my dream of a design retreat in the hills of the Bavarian forest by converting my parents' farm.
The result is a retreat and starting point for nature-loving people who enjoy good design and want seclusion and relaxation, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. We look forward to sharing this special place with you.
On request, I can serve a special breakfast and coffee and cake in the afternoon as an additional service, as I also live in this wonderful place.
