In Gühlitz, one of the typical Rundling villages of the Wendland, tradition meets modernity: the former stable building was renovated in 2022 by Astrid and Christian with architectural expertise and a love of the original and is part of a farm property.

From the first moment you notice how lovingly the old details of the house have been preserved. The historic stable doors with their round arches now serve as windows and doors that flood the interior with light from three cardinal directions. The old adobe walls ensure an optimal climate at all times and the wooden beams give the open ceiling a special charm.

In the interior, Astrid and Christian have created a place of well-being for you through the interplay of warm, natural colors and elegant metal elements, which exudes homely minimalism and simple aesthetics. In addition to the open country kitchen and the spacious living area with fireplace and garden access, the cozy bedroom with king-size bed and a spacious bathroom offer you equally stylish retreats. Throughout the house, a travertine floor with underfloor heating provides brightness and warm feet.
