From the east-facing windows, you can see the old medieval castle and Nysted Nor, while Aalholm Castle Park stretches out to the west. To the west, a path leads to Stubberup with a swimming pier on the Baltic Sea. By car, you can quickly reach Knuthenborg Safari Park, the Medieval Center, and Lalandia.
