You can only reach the cabin by boat. You'll park at the boathouse, where the boat's ready and waiting. Upon arrival, your host will meet you and show you how the boat works. From there, the boat ride to the cabin takes about 1.5–2 minutes.

The town centre of Tangvall has most of what you need, and it's a short drive to both Mandal and Kristiansand, home to the Art Silo and Kristiansand Zoo.
