Holiday home in the first row at Nissum Bredning

A wonderful, very cozy house with a fantastic view of the fjord. Starting at noon, the sun warms the living room through the large floor-to-ceiling windows, and in the evening you can marvel at the sunsets from the terrace. The short walk to the water makes for a perfect daily swim. The house is in a quiet location, set well back from neighboring homes, so you have plenty of privacy. The property is spacious, with several terraces, some of which are sheltered from the wind. Inside, everything you need is provided—for us, the highlights were the electric coffee grinder and the large Bang & Olufsen Beolit speaker, and of course the bedroom on the second level with a view of the water. The surrounding area and region have a lot to offer: long walks along the fjord’s coastline, numerous small museums in Struer and on the surrounding islands, trips to the endless North Sea beaches, and—not to be forgotten—the small sauna at the Penguin Club in the harbor of Tambohus, just a 10-minute drive away.
