Guest house at an old farm by river Lidan

You will be staying in a detached guesthouse at Lidaforsgården, an old farmstead in a peaceful rural setting by the Lidan River. The farm consists of several buildings, and since the main building is also inhabited, there is a lively yet peaceful farm atmosphere where the guesthouse has its own private space. Here you have access to an entire floor with three bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and a charming glassed-in porch where you can enjoy your morning coffee or listen to the rain fall.

Inside, you’ll find bright, open rooms with a classic farmhouse feel. The entryway features a shower and toilet, followed by a newly renovated kitchen, dining room, and living room—perfect for spending time together. Upstairs, there are three bedrooms in a row with doors between them, so you can close them off when it’s time to sleep.

Outside the guest house is a large patio surrounded by fragrant lilac bushes. Here you’ll have sun all day long and plenty of space for barbecue evenings, outdoor meals, or just to sit down with a book. The garden invites you to find peace and tranquility.

The Lidan River is right next door—perfect for swimming and nature walks. Within an hour’s drive, you can reach Skara Sommarland, Lake Hornborga, Kinnekulle, and Läckö Castle. Bjertorp Castle is just ten minutes away, and both Vara and Falköping are a 15-minute drive away.
