Barbara and Christian's vacation home is completely secluded in a secluded location in the middle of the Black Forest hills. The elegantly designed house with its floor-to-ceiling windows blurs the boundaries between inside and outside - here nature moves into the house, you have a clear view of the hilly landscape from all rooms and a small stream flows around the building. Only natural materials are used in the house - wood and stone reign supreme, and almost all the furniture has been designed for the house and custom-made by a local carpenter.
The house sleeps 4 people in two bedrooms, and as it is a family destination, children are also very welcome. Here you are completely surrounded by nature, can dream and read, or sit on the terrace and let the evening fade away. In winter by the fireplace, in summer in the garden - here you can find the peace and quiet that lets you forget the stresses of everyday life.
The surrounding area offers numerous destinations for excursions, whether cycling or hiking in the countryside or exploring the surrounding towns and villages - or simply sitting in the garden and listening to the stream.

We are Barbara and Christian, we live together with our two children in Constance, where Barbara works as a communication designer and Christian as an architect. We grew up in the southern Black Forest.
For us, staying in our vacation home means inspiration, switching off and slowing down from everyday life in the city. Here you can be by yourself, take a break and enjoy the beautiful nature, the forests, pastures and meadows, in a completely secluded location in the Black Forest.
In summer, we like to spend time in our natural garden with a stream or in the hammock. But we also like to go on hikes in the surrounding area, for example to the Blindensee lake, the Teichschlucht gorge or on excursions to Freiburg.
Our favorite places in the house are the seats by the large, floor-to-ceiling windows.
Whether in the rocking chair, in bed or on the bench in the hallway, they are all favorite places where you can observe nature, the weather or even animals (cows, sheep, birds, sometimes a deer comes by ...).
Or you can retreat to the gallery with a book. In winter, the fireplace is a favorite place and in summer the seating steps on the terrace where you can end the evening.
