The entire cabin is made of wood, complete with bunk beds, and the raw wooden walls inside give the cabin a warm and cozy feeling.

The beautiful open wood-burning stove is the focal point of the living room, and the décor with traditional wooden furniture, soft leather hides and comfy cushions makes the cabin inviting and homely. The large windows bring in a fantastic amount of light. It's clear that the hosts wanted to let nature become part of the interior, and the windows with their incredible views almost look like paintings that you can enjoy wherever you are in the cabin. In the master bedroom, you can lie back and look up at the clear starry sky, and it's not uncommon to see the Northern Lights across the winter sky.

On the terrace, there's plenty of sunshine to enjoy both summer and winter - whether it's your morning coffee or hot chocolate after a long day in the mountains. If you're lucky, foxes, hares, grouse and birds of prey may visit. The cabin is located directly above a beautiful fishing lake, and Hemsedal also has one of the country's best trout rivers. There are many great hiking opportunities in the area, so there are plenty of opportunities to explore the mountains both summer and winter.
