Everything has been thought of, from books to board games and especially for the youngest guests there is plenty to do. Since Bennet is often at the cottage with his own family, there is everything here that the little (and big) heart desires: outdoor toys, children's bikes, high chairs, bobby cars, children's books....
In the middle of our own private park of over 1 hectare, where 300 year old beech trees stand next to walnut, apple and cherry trees, you can spend a few quiet days in the country.
From the park you can reach the small stream that borders the property, where you can easily jump into the water from the private bathing area.

Hello, I am Bennet, art historian, father of three and hobby cook.
We have carefully renovated the historic, listed manor house Gut Walternienburg, whereby we have placed great emphasis on preserving as much of the Baroque building fabric as possible (this is also required by the monument protection authority) because the house is also listed in the interior due to its historical significance. This is exactly what we are aiming for: the house should make it possible to experience an elegant but simple country life. We love not only the rustic house, but also the surroundings. The proximity to the water, on the one hand the brook Nuthe, which borders our 1 hectare park and where we have a private bathing place, but also the Middle Elbe with its extensive floodplains is close by. There are also many UNESCO World Heritage sites worth exploring right on our doorstep - for example, the Bauhaus Dessau, the Dessau-Wörlitzer Gartenreich, Quedlinburg and Lutherstadt Wittenberg. The surrounding area is perfect for bicycle tours, the Elbe cycle path is right by the house. In addition, you can go horseback riding, hiking, swimming, celebrate together, cook, discover...
