This approximately 350-year-old guesthouse tells stories of times gone by and combines them beautifully with modern minimalism. During its renovation in 2005, great importance was attached to preserving its original character while at the same time updating it in a contemporary way. Today, history and modernity blend together naturally: creaking wooden floorboards meet untreated steel, clay walls meet exposed stone walls, and large glass surfaces allow light and nature to flood into the house.
As part of the traditional inn, the apartment combines old and new in exciting harmony. Historic wooden floors and solid stone walls form a warm contrast to the clear, minimalist furnishings. The generous windows create bright, quiet rooms – perfect for arriving, taking a deep breath, and leaving everyday life behind.
A practical storage room for bicycles or skis is available in the garden. Self-check-in from 3 p.m. allows for flexible arrival: with your personal access code, you will find the key safely stored next to the entrance door, which opens both the front door and your apartment.
The Chiemgau region invites you to enjoy small and big adventures in every season. Whether hiking through the mountains, cycling along the lakes, or skiing in winter—pure nature awaits you here. In between, rustic alpine huts, cozy inns, and beer gardens entice you with regional specialties such as Brotzeit, Kaiserschmarrn, and freshly tapped beer. A place for everyone who values exercise, enjoyment, and tranquility in equal measure.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.

During the renovation in 2005, great importance was attached to preserving the original character while at the same time updating it to reflect contemporary tastes. We preserved the historical substance and combined it with modern design. Our guest house has no reception, creating a quiet, personal atmosphere where you can move around freely and still enjoy your privacy.
