The cozy living room offers the perfect vantage point and the patio doors open wide. The indoor and outdoor spaces merge and you can enjoy the amazing sunsets from the soft sofas.
The terrace has sun loungers and a dining area, and the garden is designed for play, ball games and cozy moments. The entire large terrace overlooks the water and it's not unusual for a paraglider to pass by. The path of the sun in the sky can be followed and when the sun sets behind the horizon, the light is indescribable. As the house is in the front row of the most beautiful cliff, keep an eye on the little ones if they play on the slope.

We are a family of five: mom, dad, two boys and a cat, and we love being at the cottage. Especially during corona, the view, air and water gave us peace and a chance to breathe. We normally live in Copenhagen, and now that we spend our weekends doing sports and other leisure activities again, we would love to share the view with nice guests.
One of our favorite things is having guests over for dinner: we love the food, drinks and the relaxing setting, and that's what you get in a summer house. A fun fact is that we actually import champagne from small champagne houses, so if you're interested, let us know and we can show you the cellar or leave a few bottles for your stay.
The beach nearby is really child-friendly. There are stone dikes that create small lagoons where the water is calm and children love to splash around. When we're at the cottage we often go to the Heatherhill nature reserve and a trip to the ice cream parlor. We love going for walks, and for us it's a must with at least one walk a day - both to look at the cozy houses in the area, talk and experience nature. Both Gilleleje and Tisvildeleje are cozy towns with good lunch places. The area also offers a lot of lovely farm shops where you can pick up freshly baked bread and fresh fruit and vegetables.
