Peace and charm on Femø with fruits and berries

The Danish small islands are very special, and the small island of Femø in the Småland Sea is no exception. At the end of a quiet road is this lovely, traditional cottage from the 1970s. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet, pick apples in the garden and take a dip in the sea just 150 meters away.

The house offers three small, cozy rooms and a lovely living area with a kitchen, dining area and living room. The house has been preserved in its original style with fine blue floors and frames, which gives a very special cottage atmosphere. From the living room you have a lovely view of the garden and you can walk directly out onto the covered terrace, where you can still be part of the action inside. Here you can enjoy the sun, sit back with a good book or shelter from the rain on a quiet fall day.

The garden is large and spacious, so the kids can play, you can lounge in the shade or build a fire. You can also eat a lot of blackberries in late summer. In early August you can attend the annual jazz festival, during the summer you can experience the Women's Camp, the oldest of its kind, and you can always borrow bikes and explore the local island life.

You can get here by ferry from Kragenæs on Lolland or you can sail in your own boat and dock in Femø's cozy little harbor.
