Hello dear guests, we are Meike & Kai, your hosts in our blue Swedish house by the lake.

Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of nature and the proximity to the swimming and fishing lake—only 50 meters away—and recover from the stresses of everyday life in the city. Our charming Scandinavian-style wooden house offers you and your family plenty of space, and you are welcome to explore the lake with our rowboat and SUP (between May and October).

When we vacation with our children at Lake Dümmer, we enjoy using the well-developed bike paths and exploring the surrounding area before cooling off in the lake and lighting the barbecue in the garden in the evening.

For us, this place is always a place to unwind and let our minds wander. In autumn, we watch the many cranes flying over our house, and in spring we love the blossoming cherry tree avenues and rapeseed fields that are so typical of the region.

Winter brings a lot of coziness, and we enjoy spending time in front of the fireplace and in the sauna, with Kai even being brave enough to jump into the ice-cold lake afterwards. We spend most of the summer outdoors in nature, whether at the lake, in the forest, or even on a day trip to the Baltic Sea.
