The house dates from 1938 and has been in the family since 1956. Today, my two adult children, Vilde and Eddie, and I maintain the house, the original furniture, the garden and the nine acres of forest. What we love is the combination of unspoiled nature, forest and sea, space for many guests, both inside and out, the fact that the cabin is located outside the cabin areas - the outdoor activities such as darts, badminton, frisbee golf, the vegetable garden, outdoor shower, fire pit, barbecue etc. The panoramic views and walking distance to the beaches along Lake Mjøsa, the nostalgia combined with today's comfort are the highlights. As well as a short journey from Oslo Airport Gardermoen, and the proximity to Oslo, Hamar and Lillehammer, which offer the breadth and combination of urban and natural activities.
