We are a young couple, Søren and Mette, who, since we found each other, have lived in Greenland and traveled a lot together. At the end of 2021, we moved into our new, small townhouse in Odense. We realized that we needed a sanctuary with more peaceful surroundings, close to the water, tranquility and nature that we know from our time in Greenland. We only looked at one holiday home, Fredshytten, which we quickly fell in love with and moved in. After four months of renovation over the late summer and fall of 2022, we are now enjoying all the quiet moments, time, each other and nature that city life and the busy everyday life does not provide in the same way.
Of course, we love the water, where we can walk along the coastal path and swim. We also like to go for walks or bike rides along one of the Clover Routes in and around Skåstrup. We take walks in the forest, dive in the Little Belt, enjoy sunsets over the Little Belt and the Kattegat and go on trips to the cozy harbor town of Bogense, which has nice old houses, delicious restaurants, shopping in the small local shops and beautiful big ships at the marina.
