Nordic style and nature between sea and sky

We're a young couple, Søren and Mette, who have lived in Greenland and traveled a lot together since we met. At the end of 2021, we moved into our new, small townhouse in Odense. We realized that we needed a sanctuary with more peaceful surroundings, close to water, tranquility and nature that we know from our time in Greenland. We only looked at one cottage, Fredshytten, which we quickly fell in love with and decided to move in. After four months of renovation over the late summer and fall of 2022, we are now enjoying all the quiet moments, time, each other, and nature that city life and busy everyday life do not provide in the same way.

Of course, we love the water, where we can go for walks along the coastal path and swim. We also like to go for walks or bike rides along one of the Clover Routes in and around Skåstrup. We go for walks in the forest, dive in Lillebælt, enjoy sunsets over Lillebælt and Kattegat and go on trips to the cozy port town of Bogense, which has fine old houses, delicious restaurants, shopping in the small local shops and beautiful large ships at the marina.

Now that we've moved back to Greenland, there's a good opportunity for guests to borrow our holiday home when we're not in Denmark.
