Here you can watch the sunset, follow the abundant birdlife and hear the frogs croak as they breed. The area around Helnæs Made is scenic and invites you for many bike rides and walks. If you turn right at the meadow area, you'll hit the beach with clear water and clean sandy bottom.

Helnæs has a small ice cream parlor, a campsite, Helnæs Inn and not least the beautifully restored Helnæs Mill. A few kilometers from Helnæs you will find good restaurants with different cuisines. If you want a little diversity and culture, you can visit local galleries or listen to music in the Helnæs Culture and Music Association at the old vicarage.
