Our family loves spending time at our summer house. It is a place where we can retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy the peace and beauty of nature. We had a wonderful experience in Lodskovvad, not least because of the lovely cottage. The house was large and spacious with lots of nice things. However, there were some things we thought were missing, and perhaps we didn't read the description of the house carefully enough, but we expected the following things to be standard for a cottage like this, especially at this price. These are as follows:
- No terrace and no garden furniture where you could sit outside and enjoy your evening meal or breakfast
- No drying rack for wet clothes/towels
- No vacuum cleaner - only a robot that we tried to get to work
- No doormats to wipe dirty shoes - it was almost impossible to keep the floor clean
- No cupboards for storing clothes - only a few hooks here and there - very impractical
- there were no simple things like egg cups, small glasses for schnapps or champagne 🥂 - there were only 4 wine glasses - the house can accommodate 6-8 people, but there were not enough glasses as mentioned above
It is important for us to emphasize that this is not a complaint, but simply feedback on what we experienced and what we believe should be standard for such a beautiful vacation home. We had a great dialogue with Rikke, who was a wonderful host in every way.
