The Raspberry Cottage is the epitome of idyll. The cabin was built in 1962 with a thatched roof, so she's an old lady. As soon as you step through the door, you're struck by a magical calm that makes you completely disconnect from everyday life. The house is spartanly decorated, but great emphasis has been placed on coziness, personality and just the right cottage atmosphere. In addition to the house, there is also a nice little annex for overnight guests, making room for the whole family.

The cozy cottage is located in the middle of a green oasis on a multi-level plot with a fantastic wooden terrace all around the house. This means that you can always find a completely secluded area, whether you want to sunbathe, build a fire, bathe outside under the trees in the outdoor shower or just be in nature. You can enjoy the view from the terrace at any time of day. Whether it's for lunch in the sun or with a glass of wine and lighted lanterns when darkness falls.

Our names are Sara and Nikolai and we live in an apartment in Christianshavn. Since we both live and work in the city, we take every opportunity to escape to our lovely little summer oasis. When we get up here, we immediately feel the calm and our shoulders drop. For us, our time at Hindbærhytten is the epitome of slow living, where we go offline and completely disconnect from everyday life.

We enjoy reading a book in front of the wood-burning stove, taking walks by the beach or simply enjoying the view of the treetops from our terrace. We also love going on trips to the nearby Kårup Forest or shopping locally at the fish truck in town and at Lammefjordens Spisekammer.

When we're up here we take a daily walk down to the most amazing (and child-friendly) beach, which is a few hundred meters from the house. We often enjoy a little pit stop on the ultimate best-placed bench, surrounded by trees and overlooking the water and beach. Here time stands still.
