Highlights from Maria & Lars
Host since June 2024

Our names are Maria & Lars, and together with our 4 beautiful children we have this cozy cottage. Since we bought it in 2017, we've renovated and extended it several times, and we've added our personal touch to the cottage. For the past 4-5 years it has served as our base while we have lived abroad. It's our sanctuary where we enjoy everything from nature, to games in the garden and relaxing moments on the terrace and by the jetty. We hope you'll feel as at home here as we do.

Everything was so nice, both in and around the cottage. There was everything you needed, plenty of toilet paper, and other everyday things that are usually in short supply. But no expense was spared in the house. The house itself is large and has a nice kitchen and large family room where we could easily be (9 people), as well as a cozy living room. There are 5 large lovely rooms where you sleep well, and 2 good bathrooms (one is really nice), with underfloor heating that just needs to be turned on when you arrive. There were some leftover sweets on some shelves and a few things in the fridge when we arrived, which we were a little in doubt were the owners, or the last couple who had been there and left the parts. However, we just left it and there was plenty of room for our own. The outdoor area is just as lovely as the house, it is large and there is the opportunity to enjoy a bonfire in the garden, barbecue and hot tub on the large terrace and play in the gardens if you have smaller children. However, it should be said that the wood for the stove was wet and therefore had difficulty igniting, so it would have been nice with a tarpaulin over it. The grill was also quite small for a larger party, so it would have been nice to have a larger gas grill (for those of us who love to grill). If you want to go down to the small jetty, go down to the end of the garden (by the trampoline) and then follow the small path to the right until you come to a staircase down to the water on the left side. A very small but cozy place that is probably reserved for the quiet and calm summer days. It's about 3 km to Coop, so it's easy to shop before or after you arrive. The owners seem very generous with what you need in everyday life, and are a great help when you have turned up at the wrong cottage because you have mistakenly written the wrong address 🤷🏻♂️🫢 Otherwise they are quick to respond and help with questions etc. the house and the place are a big plus and you will definitely not regret coming here to relax to a fantastic view and to have fun with the whole family.
