Ship-shaped architect house by Baltic dike

At Vindhuset, you will reside in a unique piece of architecture, where the ship-shaped floor plan of the house cuts through the wind, and the interior surprises with concave walls and built-in cupboards. It is a place created for private enjoyment, surrounded by vegetation on its own grounds.

A narrow, open staircase leads up to a loft, perfect as a hiding place for children. The inner aisle follows the outer curve of the house, and the curved shapes create a very special atmosphere. The redwood facade, larch board roof, and pitch pine interior walls provide warmth and character.

The grounds allow you to be undisturbed and enjoy the silence surrounded by green vegetation. Here you can relax in your own private paradise with the organic shapes of the house as a backdrop.

Cycle along the 60 km long dike that rises above the landscape and the Baltic Sea. Two restaurants, Digegården and Strandgården, are located 500 meters away. The surrounding landscape consists of reclaimed fjord areas, and you have easy access to the Rødby ferry and Germany.
