Historic cabin by Landsort lighthouse

On the historic island of Öja, better known as Landsort, a genuine archipelago experience awaits you in this charming cottage dating back to times gone by. Here you can experience the authentic archipelago atmosphere with Sweden's oldest lighthouse as your closest neighbor.

The cottage has been recently renovated but has carefully preserved its traditional archipelago charm. Its compact size offers well-planned accommodation for up to four people – two beds in the living room and two in the cozy sleeping loft. Here you can live simply but comfortably, with a kitchen area equipped with a trivet, running water, sink, two-burner stove, oven, and refrigerator—everything you need to prepare a delicious meal after a day of adventure.

The toilet and shower are located in the adjacent main house and are accessed via a separate entrance. The newly built bathroom provides a fresh and practical solution that blends in nicely with the classic surroundings.

Outside the cottage, the authentic archipelago environment opens up, where you can enjoy sunny days and evenings. There is plenty of space to relax and soak up the special atmosphere that only the archipelago can offer.

There is plenty to discover on the island – from the historic lighthouse to the exciting Landsort Battery. Enjoy meals at Svedtiljas or the pub in Västerhamn, and don't miss the chance to visit the bird station. The crystal-clear waters of the many bathing bays are perfect for warm summer days.
