Our cottage is small, just 33 square meters, and we love it. It's an oasis of calm at the end of a closed road, and for us, it's a place where we can unplug and enjoy the wild garden and the deer that pass by. For us, the desire has always been to create a place where we can walk to the water, build a fire and enjoy the outdoors in different seasons. We love sitting on the terrace, playing cards and chatting by the light of the oil lamps. In spring and fall, the wood-burning stove is a big draw for us because we love listening to the fire crackle and watching the flames dance.
We go to Korevlerne (the beach) or Jyderup Forest for walks, eat big ice creams at Burgerhjørnet and cycle through Lyngen, where we play mini golf and shop. Then we drive to Rørvig Harbor to catch crabs and eat fresh fish. We used Sommerland Sjælland a lot when our children were younger. But most of all, we enjoy being in the cottage and the garden.
