The area around the cabin offers several mountain peaks that can be climbed, such as Strandafjellet or Roaldshornet, where you can enjoy the fantastic view when you reach the top. Just outside the cabin there is great hiking terrain and the opportunity to fish in Nysætervatnet - maybe you can catch a big trout for dinner. In winter, it's 50 meters down to the cross-country ski trails, which you can enjoy followed by letting the warmth embrace you in the jacuzzi with beautiful views of the mountain. Those who wish can drive to Ålesund for a taste of city life and even more nature experiences.
