Our names are Julie and Peter and we own Rebild Skovhuset. We live on the large country estate where the house is located, and we love life in the forest, which provides a good balance to everyday life, where we both work as doctors. Together we have five children, all of whom have grown up playing outdoors, cozy moments around the fire and picnics with packed lunches. We're both active and often take the kids mushroom hunting, blueberry picking or a bike ride in the woods.
We love hiking in Rebild Bakker, and we swim in Store Økssø in summer and winter. Julie does research as part of her work, which is why there is a good workplace in the house. Several scientific articles and a PhD thesis have been written here. Peter prefers to use his hands and relaxes in the workshop with a construction project.
We also like to stop by the craft shop Unika 9520 or visit the Cold War museum Regan Vest. After a great day, we gather and relax in the house while enjoying the sunset over the treetops.

This is the second time within a year that we have stayed in the country house, and both times it has been an extremely good experience. The house is beautifully renovated and modernized, and even in the middle of January, the house was a lovely warm oasis to return to after our trips to Rold Forest, which is right outside the door.
