Our names are Julie and Peter, and we own Rebild Skovhuset. We live on the large country estate where the house is located, and we love life in the forest, which provides a good balance to everyday life, where we both work as doctors. Together we have five children, all of whom have grown up with outdoor play, cozy moments around the fire and picnics with packed lunches. We are both active and often take the children on mushroom hikes, blueberry picking or a bike ride in the forest.
We love hiking in Rebild Bakker, and we swim in summer and winter in Store Økssø. Julie does research as part of her work, which is why there is a good workplace in the house. Several scientific articles and a PhD thesis have been written here. Peter prefers to use his hands and relaxes in the workshop with a building project.
We also like to stop by the handicraft shop Unika 9520 or visit the Cold War museum Regan Vest. After a great day, we gather and relax in the house while enjoying the sunset over the treetops.
