Inside, a well-thought-out “house-within-a-house” concept unfolds, where modern fixtures made of white-glazed spruce blend harmoniously with the historic structure. The high-quality furnishings combine Scandinavian design classics with select historic pieces and custom-made elements crafted from old oak sourced from the property itself.

On the sprawling 5-hectare plot, you’ll find natural retreats featuring fruit trees, natural stone walls and a babbling stream. The areas left intentionally wild provide a protected habitat for native wildlife, such as the fire salamander.

From here, you can set out directly on hikes to the Oberfrauenwald with its observation tower or explore the nearby Saußbachklamm gorge. Culinary highlights such as the Michelin-starred restaurant Johanns in Waldkirchen or the Gidibauer in Hauzenberg aren't far away.
