My name is Marianne and this is my and my daughter's lovely year-round home on the outskirts of Juelsminde, where we love to live.
My daughter is an active girl who goes to independent school and does sports in her spare time, while I am a trained teacher and have both taught and run a shelter for vulnerable young people. Today, I advocate for young people through online marketing. I am also a spiritual counselor for private and business.
What we particularly like about the house is being close to nature. Near the house there are several forest areas that offer great hiking trails and mountain bike routes.
We love swimming and enjoy summer days at the beach, but there's also something special about grabbing a towel in the evening and taking a dip before bed. We are members of the winter swimming club, so we swim all year round.
We have a strong sense of community with our lovely neighbors, so we also prioritize spending time with them, whether it's eating together, growing vegetables or lounging on the terrace.
Otherwise, we eat ice cream at the harbor, go for a walk in Palsgaard Slotspark (10 minutes drive), play golf at the golf courses in Juelsminde, go to a fish restaurant or sail in a sailboat.
If we feel like more action, we'll go on a day trip to Legoland, Lego House or Lalandia (1 hour drive), visit Givskud Lion Park (1.5 hours drive) or enjoy a stroll in Vejle (30 minutes drive).
