It was love at first sight when we saw the house and the beautiful natural grounds. We are Jeanette & Thomas and have been married for 31 years. Our history with Marielyst goes way back, as Thomas spent much of his childhood and youth here. We enjoy being here all seasons.
Whenever we are here, we shop in the farm shops, the butcher, the fish truck (when in season) We use the shops in town a lot and go for long walks by the beach, the dike and the forest. I also enjoy my daily bike rides, where Thomas is more into golf, paddle tennis, fitness etc. Everything is so close here in the city.
Our lovely cottage is only 250 meters from the beautiful beach, so just grab your coffee and head down to the water. Thomas swims in the sea all year round, I'm more into the outdoor shower.
We look forward to sharing our local knowledge and love of the area with our guests.
