We have had our cabin "Moose View" since 2009.
We call the cabin "Moose View" because the moose often pass right below the cabin. We often throw apples out below the cabin and have always been convinced that the moose eat them;-)
The cabin is our sanctuary, as soon as we see the cabin our shoulders drop. The view is phenomenal and free of neighbors even though it is located in a popular cottage area. Our large open fireplace is the focal point of the cabin, there is plenty of seating and views of the mountains from all windows and here we sit and read books, listen to music and play games.
We enjoy using nature and with the many opportunities the local area gives us, the cabin is a super lovely sanctuary all year round. Hafjell is a perfect area for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and to enjoy hiking in the mountains, fishing trips and the peaceful atmosphere of the summer mountains. The area is also ideal for mountain biking, with something for everyone.
