Our names are Trine and Allan, and we live in Amager with our two children and our sweet dog Elton. When we took over the family summer house on the tip of Sjællands Odde in 2020, it was not really in the cards that we would have our own summer house, but we jumped into it and we love it.
For us, going "to the country" is a space where we take the time to do the things that make us happy and at the pace that feels right. Long walks, slow coffee, hanging out with friends or throwing ourselves into projects and small renovations around the house - that's "cottage bliss" for us.
We love going for long walks along the coast. We also like to drive to Vig to visit the Tusk market on Saturdays. Or a trip to Havnebyen where you can buy fresh fish on the harbour at "Odden fish", a good cup of coffee at "Havnebyens coffee bar" or visit the farm shop "Birkemosegård", where among other things bio/organic vegetables, fruit and meat from own breeding are sold.
