Wake up to a sea view on Bornholm

The island is the only place in Denmark where you can experience cliffs - and even climb them. It's full of great beaches, dining experiences, nature, and it's not for nothing that the island has been nicknamed 'the sunshine island.' It's the place in Denmark where we have the most hours of sunshine. So grab your sunglasses and get going.

The apartment is charmingly decorated and you'll quickly notice the attention to detail. It's a very special feeling to be in such an old building - even in a former barn - that has been beautifully modernized and renovated. Still with respect for the original, rural feel. It's spacious, stylish and cozy. Imagine waking up in the morning, stepping out onto the terrace with your morning coffee in hand. Feeling the fresh air on your tired faces. And then the most breathtaking sight meets you: The most beautiful sea view. All while being in the middle of a wildflower meadow.

From Tyskegård, you can go on many fantastic bike rides in the surrounding area - in fact, there are more than 220 kilometers of cycling routes on the island. So just hop in the saddle and hit the road. Or lace up your hiking boots and hit the coastal hiking trail heading towards Svaneke or Nexø. If you pass by Nexø, be sure to buy fresh fish to take home from the island's best smokehouse. The island's most beautiful town, Svaneke, is just two kilometers to the north. With its picturesque old town center with log houses, beautiful harbor, ice cream parlors and good restaurants, it is definitely worth a visit.

If you need more sleeping space, two new apartments of the same construction can be rented for four people each, which are located next door. In addition, there is also a small guest house for two people in the former goose house.
