The light colors envelop you in peace and warmth; whether cooking, talking or letting your mind wander, this is the perfect place for relaxing hours. A TV is deliberately missing here: instead you watch the flickering fire in the fireplace or look from the comfortable sofa through the patio door into the greenery.
An old wooden staircase leads to the cozy upper floor. Under the sloping roof you sleep and dream in a comfortable double bed with a view of the high gable peak.
The garden of the house flows smoothly into the surrounding fields and meadows. On the terrace you can enjoy the last sunrays of the day, accompanied by birdsong and a breathtaking view of the greenery as far as the eye can see.
Almost endless bike paths lead directly past the house, where you can explore the idyllic area. By car you can reach Flensburg with its charming old town in less than half an hour, and a day trip to Denmark is also an option here.

I'm Gabriele and my home in Schleswig-Holstein is my absolute favorite place. When I'm not in the quaint, thatched cottage myself, I'm only too happy to receive guests here. Since I travel a lot for work, dear Julia often takes care of the house and the guests. She is your personal contact and good soul. My husband and I have renovated the cottage a few years ago with much love and created a place to switch off and breathe. We particularly enjoy the great isolation of the house: we love to listen to the birds chirping in the garden between lavender, roses and herbs or spend time on the wonderful Baltic coast.
