Welcome to the authentic stable building at Granheim Farm, a hidden gem in the picturesque Norwegian landscape. This stable building has been transformed into a modern and cozy guest cabin, giving you a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Norwegian farm life.
The interior of the cabin is modern, but has retained the rustic style of the farm. It has an open-plan kitchen-living room with all the necessary facilities, two bedrooms, and a bathroom with shower. You will feel at home as soon as you enter this warm and welcoming cottage.
Outside you'll find a covered balcony with stunning views of the surrounding countryside, as well as a heated barbecue hut that can be used all year round. You can also get a taste of the real farm work - here you are welcome to watch as we feed our Westhighland cattle. The farm's 3 Border Collies are also very social and enjoy petting.
The area around the farm offers a variety of activities. You can spend the long summer days fishing, canoeing, hiking or mountain biking. In winter, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing are popular activities. Børgefjell National Park and its countless fishing opportunities are just a short distance away.

Hi, we are an emigrant family from Germany living at Granheim Farm. We have fulfilled our own dream by taking care of this beautiful farm, which we are incredibly proud of. We work hard to provide for our animals and maintain the farm, surrounded by a picturesque landscape.
We have transformed the old barn on the farm into a cozy cottage, which has been in operation for about a year. We've tried to preserve the charm and atmosphere of the old farm, and we're very pleased with the result. We're also proud to be able to offer fresh food from the farm on request.
