Welcome to our historic thatched house, which will enchant you with its lovingly restored splendor. Every detail has been carefully designed to create a unique living experience. Charming Klönschnack doors and rustic wooden floorboards merge with modern design by Cappelini, Tobias Grau, Vitra and Moormann. From the bedroom, you have direct access to the terrace, while the bathrooms shine like the sky after a thunderstorm with sparkling mosaics. And in the perfectly equipped Bulthaup kitchen, you can conjure up culinary delights together. Immerse yourself in a world where history and modern aesthetics merge into a harmonious whole.
Let your gaze wander out of the windows and enjoy the endless landscape with grazing sheep and cows. The spacious garden is adorned with fruit trees and a charming greenhouse. The sauna house with a cozy relaxation room and a hammock invite you to relax. Equipped with garden furniture from Fermob and a beach chair from Garpa, you can experience pure peace and serenity in this idyllic retreat.
The location of our accommodation in one of the most beautiful villages on the Eiderstedt peninsula invites you to take long walks that will make time fly by. Explore the 18 historic village churches of Eiderstedt and let yourself be enchanted by the characteristic terps, ditches, meadows and pastures of the landscape. Visit the weekly markets and organic farms to discover fresh fruit and vegetables.
You can reach the miles of beautiful sandy beach at Sankt Peter Ording in just 15 minutes by car. Immerse yourself in the world of North German realists in the galleries and studios or visit the museum in Husum for a cultural excursion. There are so many ways to discover and enjoy the beauty and diversity of the region.
Important note: As we love thatched cottages, we would like to ask our guests to take extra care when dealing with fire and electricity to avoid any risk of fire to the thatched roof. Your host will be happy to give you detailed instructions.

A lovingly restored thatched-roof house with a mixture of historical ambience and modern design
Unique location on the edge of one of the most beautiful villages on the Eiderstedt peninsula with fantastic panoramic views and an old orchard
Explore remote sandbanks at low tide, starting at the magnificent lighthouse
Hello, I'm Sebastian, together with André the proud host of this wonderful accommodation. Ten years ago, we started looking for a house on the North Sea with a clear goal in mind: to escape the urban hustle and bustle and find ourselves surrounded by nature, especially near the coast. And we were lucky enough to discover our dream house - a thatched jewel dating back to 1750. Here you will experience the perfect combination that means pure happiness for us: absolute seclusion, a breathtaking panoramic view, an enchanting orchard on the dyke and, of course, the magical sunset that enchants your bedroom.
