Explore the 18 historic village churches of Eiderstedt and let yourself be enchanted by the characteristic terps, ditches, meadows and pastures of the landscape. Visit the weekly markets and organic farms to discover fresh fruit and vegetables.
You can reach the miles of beautiful sandy beach at Sankt Peter Ording in just 15 minutes by car. Immerse yourself in the world of North German realists in the galleries and studios or visit the museum in Husum for a cultural excursion. There are so many ways to discover and enjoy the beauty and diversity of the region.
Important note: As we love thatched cottages, we would like to ask our guests to take extra care when dealing with fire and electricity to avoid any risk of fire to the thatched roof. Your host will be happy to give you detailed instructions.

- A lovingly restored thatched-roof house with a mixture of historical ambience and modern design
- Unique location on the edge of one of the most beautiful villages on the Eiderstedt peninsula with fantastic panoramic views and an old orchard
- Explore remote sandbanks at low tide, starting at the magnificent lighthouse
Hello, I'm Sebastian, together with André the proud host of this wonderful accommodation. Ten years ago, we started looking for a house on the North Sea with a clear goal in mind: to escape the urban hustle and bustle and find ourselves surrounded by nature, especially near the coast. And we were lucky enough to discover our dream house - a thatched jewel dating back to 1750. Here you will experience the perfect combination that means pure happiness for us: absolute seclusion, a breathtaking panoramic view, an enchanting orchard on the dyke and, of course, the magical sunset that enchants your bedroom.
