It's rare to come across old, original summer cottages, but this architect-designed gem is nonetheless located in the middle of North Zealand's old fishing villages and wonderful nature.
The cottage has been designed and built with great care and this can be seen and felt as soon as you step inside the door. The emphasis here is on Danish design and craftsmanship and there are plenty of fine and unique details that make the house and interior design an experience in itself. In the quiet bedroom, you can curl up with a good book while the kids play in the children's room, and in the afternoon you can gather around the kitchen or in front of the wood-burning stove with a fun board game or creative crafts.
The large surrounding nature plot offers fantastic opportunities for outdoor activities. You can light a fire in the fire pit or play hide-and-seek with the kids among the trees. You can also lounge in the lounge furniture on the terraces with duvets and a hot cup of tea or seek shelter under the clear night sky in the shelter.
If you're more adventurous, there are plenty of things to do in the surrounding area, from a picnic in Troldeskoven to a swim at Melby Overdrev or perhaps a short stroll in beautiful Tisvildeleje.

Highlights from Christian

Architecture that's all its own with a focus on craftsmanship in a class of its own
The special calm and atmosphere that you feel both inside and out
Nature grounds where the whole family can explore and relax together
My name is Christian and I own the cottage with my wife Christina and our two children, Viola and Villum. The house is our cherished sanctuary, where we are far away from everyday life and can enjoy nature and slow days with bonfires, delicious food, play, games, and whatever we feel like.
We bought the cottage from the architect who designed and built the house himself. The architect first built a model in LEGO and the house is therefore well thought out down to the smallest detail. It's still original and that's what makes the place so special to us.
We use the grounds, the terraces and the fire pit a lot when we're here, and we love going to the beach either at Melby Overdrev, Liseleje Strand or Tisvildeleje, where we also like to get an ice cream or a burger at Strandkiosken. We also like to go for walks in Asserbo Hegn and Troldeskoven or take an excursion to Halsnæs, which offers a lovely lunch at Spisehuset Knud and a fantastic view of Arrenakke Bakker.
