This cottage exudes personality and coziness, packed with recycled gold and personal finds that the family has continuously handpicked. It has meant the world to the family to create a sanctuary of peace and good energy. Here you can light the outdoor fireplace and extend the evenings on the large terrace with a refreshing drink in hand. If the weather is rainy, you can move into the greenhouse where you can sit under the hanging lamps and listen to the rain trickle down the windows and let the peace and quiet settle in.
In this lovely cottage, the focus is on togetherness in down-to-earth surroundings, where you'll find plenty of cozy corners inside and out, ideal for contemplation or playing with the children. The plot is roughly divided into two, with a terrace on one side and nature on the other, which, all things being equal, feels like a forest that's wild on purpose. Here you can explore, play hide and seek or chase butterflies.
Take a walk in the quiet cottage area and you'll be greeted by smiles and a greeting over the hedge. You can also lace up your sneakers or hop on your bike and head down to the beach, scenic Heatherhill or visit one of the many holiday towns along the North Zealand coast. Here you'll find plenty of life, flea markets galore and an ice cream parlor or two for the sweet tooth.

The quiet cottage area and the beautiful nature of North Zealand
We are a family of three, and on a daily basis we potter around Frederiksberg. Simone runs a second-hand shop in Copenhagen, Mikkel is a project manager and Vester is a specialist in dinosaurs and volcanoes. We were lucky enough to take over our dream of a summer house in 2021 and have since then tried to create what for us is the perfect sanctuary.
We love the area, chatting over the hedge with our sweet neighbors and hearing a good tall tale or two from the locals. Togetherness and nature mean a lot to us, so every weekend is spent on long walks in Heatherhill or on the beach with the iconic beach houses. We also enjoy stopping by flea markets, grabbing a coffee at Café Havestuen or visiting our local grocery store.
