Holstein Switzerland is one of the most diverse vacation regions in Germany and offers a multitude of opportunities for discovery. Water sports enthusiasts, hiking fans and people who want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city will get their money's worth here. Laisa and Roman's thatched cottage is located in the middle of this dreamlike green idyll.
On the 36,000 square meter property, you can experience pure relaxation and nature: pick fruit from the trees and bushes, collect wild herbs, spend long evenings under the stars at the barbecue or watch the deer grazing in the morning dew on your doorstep with your first cup of coffee early in the morning.
The charming thatched-roof house has been restored with great attention to detail and upgraded with environmentally friendly natural materials. The country-style furnishings, combined with self-made furniture made from recycled wood, give the house a very special atmosphere. Your cabin in the cottage includes a fully equipped kitchen with adjoining living area, a cozy bedroom with king-size bed and a private spa area, which offers a sauna and a private steam bath with a view of nature.
During the summer months, both the expansive garden and the Bothkamper See lake, just 150 meters away, provide an excellent backdrop for endless days outdoors. Experience the beauty of nature up close and watch wild geese, ducks and other fascinating water birds. Dive into the refreshing waters of the lake or explore the surrounding area by bike or canoe. Even in winter, you can enjoy the breathtaking natural surroundings to the full and then warm up again on the sofa by the stove with a cup of tea.
Important note:
No check-in on Saturday and Sunday!
We love thatched-roof vacation homes - when dealing with fire and electricity, we ask guests to ensure that the thatched roof is not exposed to any fire risk. You will receive more detailed instructions from your host.
Tourism Fee not included
A Tourism Fee is a mandatory fee that you have to pay when visiting certain tourism areas in Germany. The fee is not included in the price because it depends on where you stay, how many nights you stay, how old you are and if you're bringing your dog. The fee usually varies between €0 and €4 per adult per night, but may be 5% in certain areas, such as Berlin. It should be settled with the host upon arrival.
