Maritime boathouse on Rennesøy

Enjoy a stay in this charming sea house with a consistent maritime style. Built in 2018-2019, it combines modern comfort with old materials and artifacts to create a unique atmosphere. The staircase is carved out of old wooden logs and the moldings are made of hemp rope, giving an eclectic and cozy feel.

Inside, the seahouse is divided over two floors with large windows that let in lots of light and provide a fantastic view of the sea. In the summer, the sliding doors can be opened towards the pier, and on colder days it's perfect to sit on the second floor and enjoy the waves outside.

The outdoor area offers a pier right by the sea, perfect for fishing or just relaxing with a good book. There are also opportunities for barbecues and outdoor dining, making it a great place for social gatherings.

The area around Rennesøy has a lot to offer, from great hiking opportunities such as Pilå on Vikefjellet to swimming at Prestvågen. The center of Vikevåg is just 800 meters away with shops and restaurants, and for a day trip we recommend a trip to Utstein Kloster or Stavanger city with its rich selection of restaurants and historic buildings.
