Step into a time capsule at Gelskov Manor, where you will find an authentic steward's house from the 1700s. Here, the wings of history meet a homely atmosphere that invites you to relax completely away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The residence offers three bedrooms with double beds, one of which is furnished as a children's room with wooden toys. The large kitchen, the southwest-facing living room with a wood-burning stove, and the study with bookshelves create the setting for the perfect rural stay.
The west-facing veranda and terrace among the apple trees provide an idyllic setting for outdoor meals. You can also enjoy the private park with a sandbox, swings, and shelter, as well as greet the nine chickens that provide you with fresh eggs.
This part of the estate has a small animal herd consisting of nine chickens and an extremely affectionate cat, Fine, which you are very welcome to feed and look after during your stay, entirely on a voluntary basis and by prior arrangement.
From the estate, you can explore the surrounding forests and meadows with streams, where a rich bird life unfolds. The area is ideal for walks, runs, and nature experiences that will make you forget the time.

It is now possible to rent the caretaker's house, which is part of the side wing of Gelskov Manor, but which was originally the main house when it was built in the 1700s, until the newer main house was built in 1917
The residence is private—a little worn after 300 years of use, but very authentic, beautiful, and rural, far from the trappings of modern life and located in the middle of magnificent nature with a park, meadow, and forest right outside the door.
I am a trained midwife and educator. This is the first time I am offering this private part of the estate, where my very sweet cat Fine and I live on a daily basis.
The residence includes a children's room with the most wonderful quality toys and books.

The accommodation has a wired internet connection, but no Wi-Fi and no television. I spend my time reading, writing, doing handicrafts, gardening, and going for walks when I am at the estate.
I have a flock of free-range chickens, which you can also enjoy watching in the park.
