Historic manor house at Gelskov Estate

It is now possible to rent the caretaker's house, which is part of the side wing of Gelskov Manor, but which was originally the main house when it was built in the 1700s, until the newer main house was built in 1917

The residence is private—a little worn after 300 years of use, but very authentic, beautiful, and rural, far from the trappings of modern life and located in the middle of magnificent nature with a park, meadow, and forest right outside the door.

I am a trained midwife and educator. This is the first time I am offering this private part of the estate, where my very sweet cat Fine and I live on a daily basis.

The residence includes a children's room with the most wonderful quality toys and books.

The accommodation has a wired internet connection, but no Wi-Fi and no television. I spend my time reading, writing, doing handicrafts, gardening, and going for walks when I am at the estate.

I have a flock of free-range chickens, which you can also enjoy watching in the park.

It is possible to make an agreement to look after the animals and enjoy the fresh eggs during your stay - of course, entirely on a voluntary basis and after careful prior agreement and instruction.
